Let’s get social

Hi folks!

A little over one year ago, I set up my office in downtown Ganges on Salt Spring. To celebrate that anniversary, and bring in the new autumn season with a new set of offerings, I’m launching a bi-monthly newsletter.

In this issue, I’m sharing my latest communications package, offering a sweet deal for client referrals, and sharing a new worksheet, “Secrets to Sourcing & Using Irresistible Images”. Enjoy!

Psst…. pass it on … and get a sweet deal!

It’s autumn and I’m ready  to take on some new projects.  If you are getting this email, chances are we’ve worked together in the past.  Right now, I’m offering a sweet little ‘thank you’ package for clients who refer me forward. Send my website (www.andreapalframan.com) & a note of reference  to someone whom you know needs and wants the kind of next-level beauty that I have to offer,  and I will make you a beautiful, custom social media graphic to promote your latest project!

I humbly share these lovely words from Seraphina Capranos:

A HUGE thank you and shout out to Andrea Palframan for her extraordinary website gifts. This woman is a master of her craft. We spent several creative hours birthing my beautiful new website and really this woman was a joy to work with: not to mention she is inspiring, creative, and always had a brilliant new idea when I felt stuck. She’s part mentor, part creative genius both artistically and technically, an amazing communicator, a brilliant writer to top it off, and importantly, I feel like I have a new friend. Working with her was fun and overall an extraordinary experience.”

Stay Tuned for 6 Secrets to Sourcing & Using Irresistible Images

My little newsletter has been {ahem} highly irregular. That’s about to change. After 20 years in digital communications, and an immersion in online campaigning that has thrown open the doors on the mysteries of social media engagement, I want to share some of the tricks I have up my sleeve. I am gearing up to offer regular  tips, tools, and insights for social entrepreneurs, non-profits, creatives and anyone who is working to make the world a better, more beautiful place. To get started, click below and I’ll send you a super-useful worksheet, “6 Secrets to Sourcing & Using Irresistible Images”.

Take Action !

There is an overwhelming weight of evidence that the emancipation of women is the most dynamic force for human progress. The single greatest predictor of 80 family conditions (literacy, health, drinking water, nutrition and so on) is the mother’s education. – Terry Glavin, Ottawa Citizen

These days, there are so many online campaigns, it can be hard to discern what is strategic, urgent, and achievable.  Never fear, good people: one of the goals of this newsletter is to help you wade through the noise and help you be effective with your online activism. If you follow me on Twitter or Facebook you already know about the campaigns I am professionally involved with. Here, I share actions from organizations I admire, whose campaigns meet my “Is it helpful? Is it realistic? Does it get to the ROOTS of the problem?” criteria… This week, I’m highlighting Results Canada’s campaign to urge legislators to prioritize teenaged girls in development interventions. Educating girls has proven to be the most effective way to lift families out of poverty: my own decade of experience running a scholarship program in southern Africa has shown me how permanently life-changing these investments are — not only for the young women themselves but for their families and their communities. Visit the RESULTS page and add your voice: Take Action.

It’s a pleasure and a privilege to work with so many fantastic people & organizations who are making a difference in the world. I appreciate the opportunity to share in a circle of change~makers. Thank you for all that you do!

With love and gratitude,

Andrea
