Dealing with the loss of a beloved pushes us into grief’s cold darkness to a place where we resist the feelings, beliefs and behaviours that arise. Through the practice of yoga therapy the mourner is offered tools to help integrate their experiences after loss and reconstruct their shattered self. Grief causes physical, emotional and mental suffering. This 6-week program for grief relief will address these areas through the use of guided breathwork, meditation and awareness-based movements and help re-establish a sense of wholeness.
